Barcelona Airport (BCN) has a good selection of transfer options to downtown Barcelona. Passengers can choose between shuttle buses, trains, taxis and airport shuttles.

The Barcelona-Castelldefels C-31 motorway provides easy access to the city from the airport.

Buses

The Aerobus service to the centre of Barcelona operates every 15 minutes from terminals A, B and C.

Shuttle Buses

Shuttle bus services are operated by Aerobus and depart every 15 minutes from all three terminals. Services run to the city centre.

Hotel Shuttles

Reputable hotels generally have courtesy cars or shuttle buses available to transport visitors between the airport and their establishments. Passengers are advised to check the availability of such services prior to their arrival at the airport

Trains

Train services along the RENFE Mataró line operate between the airport and Barcelona city centre every 30 minutes. All trains connect with the underground Metro rail system. Access to the airport railway station, RENFE Cercanías, is facilitated by a travelator located in front of the terminal building.

Taxi Cabs

Taxis can be hired from the taxi rank, which is situated on the left hand side as you depart the airport's main exit. Journeys to the centre of Barcelona take anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

Limousines

There are no limousine companies operating directly from the airport however there are three companies based in the city that can provide pick-up services at the airport by prior arrangement. These companies are: Limousines Miramar (+34 93 502 6800), Blali Limousines (+34 93 303 4334) and Ares Mobile Chauffeur Drive (+34 91 747 75 70).
